I draw from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, narrative therapy, values work, and equine therapy to ensure that your individual needs are met. Equine therapy at PDX Anxiety and Trauma is molded to meet your goals. Horsemanship, bonding and trust exercises are combined with counseling sessions to help you with anxiety, depression, trust, mindfulness and communication.

In couples therapy, the relationship is the client. I believe the foundations of a healthy relationship are love, communication, vulnerability, and shared values. In these sessions, we will all work together to assess your relationships needs, and tailor your sessions to your goals.

Diagnosis and assessment is offered for individuals who are not seeking ongoing therapy, but need proof of a psychological assessment. If you’re required to have a psychiatrist conduct the assessment, please note that this is not a service offered by PDX Anxiety and Trauma at this time.

This intensive program is tailored to your company’s needs and ranges from a partial-day to two-full-day sessions of executive or team coaching. During this time, we will surface the pain points in your organization, guide you towards resolving them and prepare you for scaling your operations while preserving your mission. You will learn tangible skills that you can put to use in your day to day, improving your company and its culture.

Equine Therapy
Learn important skills in partnership with a horse.
Offered in person in Wilsonville, Oregon. These sessions are often combined with traditional individual therapy sessions.

Online therapy, with the relationship as the client.
Options for couples sessions in combination with equine therapy are available for additional cost.

Diagnosis and assessment services for those who do not wish to engage in counseling.

Additional $100 if records review is required.
Discounted rates available with a referral from a community provider.
Business Culture and Communication Coaching
Improve employee morale and retention by building and modeling company values.
Offered remotely, or in person. On-site equine-facilitated team building is also available at the equine center in Wilsonville, Oregon.

Horseback Riding Lessons
Therapeutic riding lessons combine psychotherapy approaches with western horsemanship and traditional riding lessons.
Therapeutic Riding Lesson 45 mins | $150
Traditional riding lessons include learning basic horse care, fitting and removing tack, and riding skills for any level.
Adult Riding Lesson 60 mins | $75
Children Under Twelve 60 mins | $50
All riding is done on-site in Wilsonville, Oregon.
Accepting all major credit and debit cards.
Currently, PDX Anxiety and Trauma is working with cash-pay and out-of-network clients.
Also accepted are Health Savings Accounts, most employee EAPs, and superbills for insurance reimbursement.
